Sita Rama Kalyanam

Bhagawan’s 87th birthday celebrations commenced in Prasanthi Nilayam on 18 Nov 2012, on a very auspicious note, staging a symbolic celestial marriage of the Divine couple Lord Rama and Mother Sita followed by Rathotsavam.

The program held on a make-shift platform, in front of the Sanctum Sanctorum, commenced at 08:30 in the morning, lasting 80 minutes. Amidst Vedic chanting and to the backdrop music of Nadaswaram, even as the rituals continued with various offerings to the Divine couple, the chief priest went on elaborating the greater significance and purport of the Divine Marriage connecting the same with Sai saga. Upanayanam, sacred thread ceremony of the bridegroom followed by Kanyadanam (giving away the bride) was performed amidst chanting before the final ceremony. The divine marriage ceremony concluded with the tying of Mangala Sutra around the neck of the bride.

Chinna Katha – THE LIGHT OF DIVINE MESSAGE ON DEEPAVALI

Deepavali has to be observed as a day for getting rid of all the bad qualities in us, symbolised by the demon Narakasura and the man has to light the Atmajyothi, in him.

There is a scientific reason also for this celebration. With the end of the rainy season water stagnates in many places and the surrounding areas teem with mosquitoes and other insects. The smoke from the crackers and fireworks destroys these insects and disinfects the atmosphere.

On this day, people insist on wearing new clothes. Let your hearts too rejoice, clothed in fresh ideals and feelings and resolutions. Relish these sweets from this day on, and mould your lives into sweet songs of Love.

Blessings of Swami

My Dear Swami… Let me be your divine instrument…

Swami…

Your Divine Hand has held mine,
even before I knew You…

You carried me into this world
in Your loving arms,
Then You entrusted me
to the care of another.
I cried out in anguish
for loss of Your shelter,
You tenderly wiped my tears
to soothe my fears.

Your voice whispered gently,
“I am always by your side…”

All too soon I grew up
in this web of illusion,
Years of pain I endured,
to repay my karmic sins.
My eyes were blinded,
My ears deafened,
Had I seen Your face,
I would not know You.

Yet, Your loving Hand held on,
You did not let go…

Emptiness filled my soul,
Silent tears in solitude,
“Where are You, God?
Help me to find You!”
Then quietly You came,
As a thought in my mind,
“If I trust in Him totally,
He will heal me.”
Your Divine Hand guided me,
to Your Lotus Feet…

Speak to me, dear Lord,

Tell me what to do.
Let this be my final journey
so I may merge with You.
“Hear Me in your thoughts,
Seek Me within,
Feel Me in your heart,
For I am you.”

Let my hands be Yours, dear Swami,
Let me be Your Divine instrument…
