Award for artist: Mridangam vidwan Tiruvavur Bhakthavatsalam will be conferred the title ‘Sangeetha Sahrudhaya Seva Ratna’ by the Shirdi Sai Sangeetha Sabha on December 1, 6 p.m. Flute maestro N. Ramani will present the award. The function will be held at Jaigiopal Garodia School, U 6, Anna Nagar. The award carries a citation, cash of Rs. 5,000 and a memento.
